Established as Shipping Agents since 1887 in Las Palmas port, where we have our Head Office, it had its origins in the small British business community already resident in the city in the middle of the XIX century. The supply of coal to the steam-powered vessels calling at the port of Las Palmas on route from Europe to North and South America and Africa, was the beginning of a flourishing business of shipping, joining others British companies, and after some years, several of them united, giving our Group the form it has had until its recent acquisition in 1994 by the Valencian Boluda Group, one of the largest Spanish Maritime Corporation, involved in practically every aspect of maritime business.

Our activity as Shipping Agents has entered a new period of expansion, having actually a wide network of Branches. Operations are supervised by our Head Office in Las Palmas, coordinating all works of the Canary Islands Offices, Tenerife and Lanzarote, but also of the rest of the spanish ports where we are established as Ceuta, Huelva, Sevilla, Algeciras, Cartagena, Alicante, Valencia, Castellón, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Marín, Bilbao and Madrid.

As Shipping Agents we have had time to become specialist in all kinds of traffic: regular liner trades, tramp, cruise, dry cargo, tug boats, LNG carriers, etc., and we are in a position to offer to Shipowners, Managers and Operators the benefits of been part of a Group, which permits us to provide any service a vessel may need during a port call, with highly competitive prices, as loading and discharge of cargoes, surveys, underwater services, supply of bunkers, crew changes, delivery os spares, repairs, general ships supplies, etc.

Although we do attend all kinds of traffic in the different ports where we are established, we should mention the important number of calls for fuel and water supply in Las Palmas, Tenerife, Ceuta, and Algeciras; the calls of tankers of the largest main fuel companies, repairs, crew changes and delivery of spares in Las Palmas and Tenerife, and the LNG carriers in Huelva, Cartagena and Barcelona.

It should be noted, that within our organisation we have specialists in many fields, including Cruise Shipping. We mostly attend cruise vessels in the Canary Islands, particularly in Tenenife, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, La Palma, Gomera and Fuerteventura. We act as Tour Operator through our sister company V.B. Travel, S.A., organizing all kinds of excursions, transfers, accommodation, air companies tickets, etc., in all the Canary Islands, Las Palmas being our Head Office with our own Branches in Tenerife and Lanzarote.

And finally, we act as Shipping Agents for the vessels and the cargoes of the different companies which belong to Boluda Group, in all the ports where we are established and their vessels call regularly.
